Overview

TERRAM Hydrotex™ is a permanent solution for areas where clay pumping can cause a loss of trackbed stability. It removes the requirement for a sand blanket, providing a durable solution for rail infrastructures that prolongate trackbed life and ensure trackbed stability.

Product Features

  • Permeable filter/separator for fine soils. Prevents sub-grade erosion and upward particle passage (smaller than 0.002mm), while allowing upward and downward water transmission.
  • High strength and flexibility allows the composite to conform to the excavated formation, preventing the creation of pockets of slurry that could result in an unstable trackbed.
